Terry L. Hritz
Digital Fabrication (dFAB) Lab Manager
Terry Hritz joined the School of Architecture as the dFAB Lab Manager in September 2016. His previous experience includes 15 years of managing academic shop facilities in CMU’s School of Art, and the University of Miami’s School of Architecture. Other past experience includes technician work for several Pittsburgh R&D companies, as well as architectural work at Fukui Architects PC in Pittsburgh and HHSDR Architects/Engineers in Sharon, PA.
On the side, Terry pursues various avenues of furniture and product design, sculpture, and carpentry/home renovation work. His work has been exhibited in Pittsburgh, New York, Rhode Island, Florida, Ohio, and New Jersey.
Terry received his MFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1996, and his B. Arch. from Kent State University in 1991.
