Teddy Cruz and Fonna Forman, principals in Estudio Teddy Cruz + Fonna Forman, will discuss their work on “citizenship culture" at the US-Mexico border, and the Cross-Border Community Stations project, a platform of knowledge exchange that links universities and nonprofit organizations on both sides of the border.

Her talk, “Defined by Design: The Surprising Power of Hidden Gender, Age, and Body Bias in Everyday Products and Places,” is an eye-opening overview of how the design of everyday objects that we encounter each day impacts and shapes our lives in ways most of us would never imagine.

Nathalie Frankowski and Cruz García Receive 2019-20 Ann Kalla Professorship in Architecture

The SoA is pleased to announce that Nathalie Frankowski and Cruz García have been selected for the 2019-20 Ann Kalla Professorship in Architecture. The duo will deliver a lecture during the Fall 2019 Lecture Series and teach an ASO studio and spring seminar in spring 2020.
