Stella Boess, Assistant Professor in Design for Interactions at TU Delft, will be visiting CMU to talk about Prototyping for Interaction and Participation. She'll be discussing the question of 'how do we involve non-designers in conceptualizing their own futures?' through examples from projects and teaching in the Netherlands and elsewhere. Stella's work is about participatory design — how to include people in design processes, through practical activities, and she has addressed lots of areas ranging from social innovation to sustainability.
