Assistant Research Professor
Azizan Abdul-Aziz is an Assistant Research Professor at the Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics in the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a trained architect with extensive experience in sustainable design, the design of integrated systems for high performance buildings, post occupancy evaluation, and building performance monitoring and analytics. Azizan has initiated innovative data analytics projects with federal, corporate, campus, and municipal leaders. In addition to his more than 20 years in research, Azizan teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs for the School of Architecture, with a focus on design for a sustainable built environment.
